Introduction
This is the Wilkinson Anisotropy Microwave Probe's map of the cosmic microwave background, the radiation left over by the big bang. Researchers have found Stephen Hawking's initials written in it – what can you find?
To highlight the shapes you find, click the blue paddle-shaped marker at the top left, then click again where you found your shape. This will place a marker on the map: you can then enter some text, explaining what shape you have found.
We haver put some examples in to get you started.
